(KNOXVILLE, TN) - Marble City Opera will present a concert titled Faith, Hope, and Love on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, 711 S. Northshore Drive in Knoxville. The performance is part of the Cathedral Concert Series. Free tickets are available via Eventbrite. Donations are welcome and will be accepted at the concert.
Faith, Hope, and Love will feature music from Puccini, Verdi, Bizet, Leoncavallo, and others performed by soprano Kathryn Frady, accompanied by Brandon Coffer on piano, Lydia Schoen on oboe, and Kelsey Bentley on French horn. All four artists recently performed in Marble City Opera’s production of Il Tabarro.
The Cathedral Concert Series, a program of the Diocese of Knoxville Music Commission, is dedicated to providing the community with free or low-cost opportunities to experience local, regional, national, and international sacred and classical music ensembles. This will be the first time that Marble City Opera has presented a concert in the Cathedral.
