Jeff Arbital
Jeff Arbital is a retired high-level nuclear engineer who worked at the plant in Oak Ridge, known as Y-12, for 45 years. This was the cornerstone location for the Manhattan Project, which helped end World War II. Jeff’s career followed the Manhattan Project by making the world’s nuclear weapon materials safer to store and much less likely to be captured by terrorists around the world. Jeff’s program with this material also increased the amount of nuclear isotopes that could be used for medical treatments worldwide. Mr. Arbital was on the Board of Directors of his Florida Condominium Complex in Dunedin FL. On the BOD, and using his engineering background, Jeff managed the largest program the building did since it was built in 1978. The project was to ensure the sewer drain pipelines throughout our 8-story building would not fail for at least 50 more years. Mr. Arbital has also been on the BOD at Temple Beth El in Knoxville, during which time he served as president and managed the building restoration committee. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys boating on Ft Loudon lake, snow skiing, and traveling with his wife Susan.
